Ohio River Water Trail Expansion
It is the vision of the Ohio River Trail Council that the Ohio River Water Trail (ORWT) expand westward from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Cairo, Illinois.

Upper Ohio River Water Trail - Pittsburgh District (PA, OH, WV)
Present Length: 69-miles
Waterway: Ohio River (SW Pennsylvania, SE Ohio, NW West Virginia)
Accommodations: Campgrounds, Marinas, Picnic Areas, Restaurants and Boat Ramps
Presently the Ohio River Water Trail starts at Pittsburgh, PA, OH and follows the Ohio River to East Liverpool, Ohio and Newell, West Virginia. Emsworth, Montgomery, and New Cumberland Pools.

Presently the Ohio River Water Trail currently starts at Neville, OH and follows the Ohio River through Cincinnati and ends in Patriot, Indiana. Markland and McAlpine Pools.
